Onyx is a black male of good size. He is excellent in type and expression with very good proportions and angulations. Especially impressive is his very good chest breadth and depth and his harmonious back line. He is pigmented very well and has a really dark, thick and shiny fur with correct markings. His very beautiful head is particularly conspicuous with parallel head lines. His gait is ground covering. He has a friendly open character with very much temperament.
